Hardscape Construction Foreman

Job Summary

The Construction Foreman is responsible for building our projects by staging ahead of time on his/her job site, ordering required materials, managing the productivity of his/her staff and training staff on all safety regulations and expectations required by law.

Essential job functions

• Review installation plans prior to work commencing
• Read construction drawings and translate that information onto the site
• Keep all team members productive at all times
• Ordering all job materials necessary to install the project at estimated
• Review installation plans to foresee any installations issues that may arise and proactively correct them so all crew members can stay productive
• Communicate with the client daily and provide progress reports.
• Complete all projects on time and on budget
• Keep the site and the truck clean to protect everyone’s safety and image
• Train team members on all jobs required on site as appropriate by their skill level
• Enforce PPE and safety requirements
• Tailgate safety meetings daily
• Comply with all OSHA standards of operation
• Read through entire job packages before commencing projects
• Manage software programs to track time and adding notes as required
• Fill out material lists for crews to gather before the start of a job
• Complete truck/ equipment checks
• Inspect and sign off on all deliveries and return paperwork to the office daily
• DIGSAFE all project at least 72 hours before the start of a project. “business days”

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• landscaping: 7 year (Preferred)
